It is going to be a great spring skiing day with sunshine and fantastic conditions.

After a week of winter’s return, we will see some milder temperatures return for today and tomorrow. However, the conditions look incredible this morning as we get the day going.

For the full details, be sure to visit the Snow Reports page for all the details.

Massanutten is set to rejoin the party today as they will reopen today through Sunday. The Virginia resort will have the Creekside Quad, Ridge Triple, and Sunkid lifts running today servicing Upper and Lower Showtime, Southern Comfort, and Paul’s Way.

As I mentioned yesterday, they will be offering some great deals as well as late-season rates.

Interestingly, the Peak Quad will not be open this weekend as they will begin the removal process on Monday for its replacement lift.

After Sunday, Massanutten is hoping to reopen on March 25 and 26th – conditions permitting.

With Massanutten reopening, that brings us back to seven resorts open for play with App Ski, Beech Mountain, Snowshoe, Sugar, Timberline, and Wisp also having lifts turning today.

There are some great conditions out there as Ma Nature gave us some natural snow to play on this week, while the mountain operation teams continued to work their magic.

As we slide into the weekend, I expect we will have an update from Bryce in the next day or so as they have been making snow to try and reopen.

While the next couple of days are going to be on the mild side, winter returns this weekend with colder air once again setting the stage for another fantastic weekend.

Today’s featured image is from Beech Mountain.

That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
