Mother Nature has decided to help us get the week started with some excitement.

Light snow is falling at several of the resorts before transitioning over to all rain later today. After a beautiful weekend, today kicks off another roller-coaster week as the first part is warmish and wet while the end of the week looks really, really promising.

This morning, the North Carolina High Country resorts along with Cataloochee and even Ober Gatlinburg saw some flakes flying. App Ski Mountain hit the nail on the head when they captioned this video.

We could see an inch or snow in the higher elevations this morning before it tuns over to all rain for the evening.

For the latest conditions, be sure to visit the Snow Reports page.

After a couple of warm days, the bottom will drop out of the temperatures as we are looking at what could be the coldest weekend of the year and some natural snow.

We are looking at perfect conditions for the Ski Southeast Summit at Snowshoe, and we will share more on that later in the week. There is still time to join us but availability is limited.

The weekend was fantastic on the slopes, and the resorts shared a lot of cool content on social media to highlight the action.

Check out some of our favorites from the weekend.

Snowshoe had a perfect weekend for the Berming man Banked Slalom and the course looked challenging and fun this year.

Beech Mountain celebrated Retro ‘80s Weekend and had a banked slalom contest as well. Check out this great highlight video.

Ober Gatlinburg hosted Spring Fling 2020 this weekend, and it looked like a great time was had by all. Check out the conditions from this live clip.

Over on Facebook, they also shared the Spring Fling Pond Skimming video which is definitely worth a watch.

Winterplace shared this great photo from Leigh Tucker on her crew enjoying the slopes this weekend.

Bryce shared this great video of Friday night snowmaking. Goodness – that is a beautiful sight.

That will do it for today but until next time #ThinkSnow.
