A chilly Wednesday is on the way for today.
After a warmer Tuesday, the cold air returned late Tuesday and brought snowmaking at nearly every resort back along with it.
It is a bit gray this morning, but it is going to be a fantastic day if you are able to get on the snow to play.
I loved App Ski Mountain’s Facebook quote this morning of “Good mornings lead to great days.”
That is certainly the case this morning as it is going to lead to an absolutely fantastic day.

I don’t think we could have asked for a better January as we have had incredible conditions almost the entire month.
That remains the case this morning – especially after the overnight refresh from the mountain operation crews working their magic.
We did see some light natural snowfall overnight with no significant accumulation.

Not much, but we will take every little bit we can get.
Speaking of snow, we have our eyes on the Friday-Saturday system which could lead to some more natural snow heading into the weekend.
Pretty sweet.
If you are planning on heading to the mountains this weekend, it is looking like you are going to have perfect conditions. I would start planning ahead if you haven’t to be sure you have all advanced tickets, rentals, etc. purchased to help get on the snow faster.

There weren’t a ton of changes from yesterday – mostly adding an opening slope here and there.
Our buddy Bill Nabers checked in from Bryce with today’s featured image of the day. That is looking down Bootlegger, and he said that it was a great day on Tuesday.
