Snowshoe Mountain Resort is one of the largest and most exciting of the ski resorts in the Southeast. With the most natural snowfall, the highest vertical drop, the most skiable terrain, and a lift system that can carry the most people up the mountain per hour, Snowshoe Mountain WV is the place to go to enjoy all of your favorite winter sports. Snowshoe Mountain Skiing is the most popular pastime at the enormous resort, but snowboarding comes in a close second. Visitors get access to two entire mountains full of fabulous snowboarding slopes for the price of just one lift ticket, so it’s no wonder that so many of them flock to this biggest and baddest of the Southeastern ski resorts to partake in some of the best boarding the Southeast has to offer. As if this weren’t enough, Snowshoe Mountain has a whopping three terrain parks that are set aside just for snowboarding!

With so many boarders eager to try out the slopes at Snowshoe Mountain WV, Snowshoe has come to the rescue with the Burton Women’s Camp. Slated to take place March 10-11, this camp is tailored to the specific needs of female snowboarders—from beginner to expert. Taught by Snowshoe Mountain Resort’s leading female instructors and a Burton female pro, the ladies who sign up for this educational event will not only get the inside scoop on how to perform their best on the slopes from fellow females who understand their bodies’ strengths and weaknesses, but they’ll even have the opportunity to try out Burton’s latest female specific gear!

The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday will consist of morning check-in and breakfast at Moonshine. Then, on-snow coaching will begin, followed by lunch, and some more coaching. At 4:30 on Wednesday, the ladies can get ready for some fantastic après ski provided by Snowshoe Mountain WV’s great restaurants and clubs. Thursday will follow a similar pattern, but will end with gifts and goodbyes at Moonshine. The camp does have a limited capacity, so those who wish to take part in this fantastic opportunity should make their reservations now. Cost for the camp is $99; this does not include Snowshoe Mountain Slopeside Rental Homes or lodging of any kind. Demo equipment will be available, but participants will need to bring their own gear.

Whether you’re just starting out, are a fan of Snowshoe Mountain Skiing but would like to try something new, or would simply like to improve upon your Snowshoe Mountain WV snowboarding skills, the Burton Women’s Camp is just what you’ve been looking for. This fun and exciting camp provides boarders and prospective boarders with a chance to hit the slopes at Snowshoe Mountain, receive instruction from professionals who are specially trained to help women do their best on the slopes, try out some of the latest and greatest Burton equipment, and meet others who share their passion for winter sports.
