Beech Mountain Resort is raising funds and awareness for the Colon Cancer Coalition in a unique way.
The resort is hosting Runs for Buns on Saturday, March 7 with proceeds going to benefit the Colon Cancer Coalition.
Runs for Buns is a simple concept where participants will solicit pledges per ski/board run. The ski runs will be tallied at Lift 5 from 9 am to 5 pm. The goal is simply to complete as many runs as possible to help raise money for the fight against colon cancer.
Registration is at 7:30 am with the event starting at 9 am. You can also register online by clicking here.
As part of the Runs for Buns event, Beech Mountain is hosting a variety of fun events in the first week of March to help bring families together for a good cause. Those events include Community Yoga, Share Back nights at local restaurants and Family Night at The Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria.
There will also be a raffle and silent auction as part of the festivities. The silent auction is set for 1p on March 7.
