A Beautiful Tuesday On Deck

It is going to be a beautiful day.

After an incredible weekend and a near bluebird Monday, Tuesday will be a little milder and the sunshine will still be around.

Expect some great spring conditions today with some softer snow across the board, but that can still be a lot of fun to play on.

Temperatures at a couple of resorts fell near freezing overnight so the snow will soften up throughout the day.

Beech Mountain was getting a fresh groomed and looking outstanding this morning.

Even though it is warm, the conditions are still really good – especially after the weekend snow.

Our buddy Bill Nabers helped close down Bryce Resort on Sunday, and decided to take a trip to Massanutten on Monday.

Bill said that Kenny Hess and crew had the slopes in great shape with a very nicely groomed surface with good coverage – especially off of lift #6.

He shared a couple of pics (which are below as well as today’s featured image) and said that if you get a chance to get to the ‘Nut this week, definitely take advantage.

Bill also shared the below photo of the work on the new Muehler’s Run construction. Massanutten has shared in a Facebook post on Monday that work is coming along quite nicely.

As I mentioned yesterday, we have eight resorts open for play this week, and you can view the full conditions over at the Snow Reports page.

If you are able to take advantage and get out and play this week, I highly recommend it.

To end things for the day, here are a few social media posts that stood out over the past couple of days.

That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
