Cataloochee Ski Area will be open this coming Saturday and Sunday as planned but ALSO the weekend of the 10th and 11th of April!
Marketing Department spokesperson and all-around great gal, Tammy Brown called us this afternoon to break the news with SkiNC and SkiSoutheast.com first. She said, "You are the only ones to know other than the guys that will be running the lifts!"
She’s cute that way!
So for you CAT FANS out there go ski and ride this Saturday and Sunday, and again Saturday and Sunday, April 10th and 11th.
Tammy said that the weekend crowds have been great and as long as there’s skier interest they may open weekends deeper into April! She shared, "Mike, we still have polls under some of our lifts because the snow is so deep in spots that we figured ‘what are you going to do’?"
So what they are going to do is stay open…
