On Snow

Hi all!

I thought that I would share some insight into conditions at my favorite ski hill of the southeast.  As much as I enjoy the staff and slopes of Cataloochee I am disappointed to report that they are not reporting some of the thin areas and a few bare spots that I found on the hill today. Conditions were overall okay, but not really all that great for sure. Upper and Lower Omigosh were not in that good of shape and there are some weather-related thin coverage and bare spots which I did not see on their trail report and thought your readers would want to know.

Cataloochee didn’t groom between sessions either which made for even spottier conditions after the night session began.  All in all they have what I would report as okay conditions with some really good spots and some not so good.  I took some pics with my phone but they were not good enough to send.

I’ll get more pics later!
