Thursday is going to bring some more sunshine and spring-like conditions.

Cataloochee, Snowshoe Mountain, and Sugar Mountain keep marching on as their seasons continue, and Thursday will be a great day to get some laps in if you are able.

For the conditions breakdown, be sure to visit the Snow Reports page.

Our buddy Bill Nabers hopped over to Snowshoe for a couple of days and reported in last night. Today’s featured image is Bill’s view looking down Lower Ballhooter.

Bill noted that the skiing was good the last two mornings and that things do soften up in the afternoon. He also noted that he can attest to the snowmaking run that the crew at 4848′ has been on.

Bill’s last line is also perfect advice – “Ski them while they are open.”

Still plenty of snow over at the Western Territory at Snowshoe.

Our own Brian Dix also checked in from App Ski Mountain’s Meltdown Games yesterday with a full report. Be sure to read about the fun and also check out the pond skim clips.

For today, we are going to see spring-like conditions as the snow will soften up throughout the day. With sunshine, it is going to be a great day to make laps while also enjoying the mountain views.

Friday will see some rain move in throughout the day and last into early Saturday. The weekend, however, doesn’t look like a complete washout as the rain will move out Saturday.

It will be a great weekend to take Bill’s advice.

That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
