We are rolling into the weekend.
It looks like the rain may hold off until the evening hours except for a couple of showers which is setting the stage for a solid Friday to get some laps in.
Cataloochee, Snowshoe, and Sugar are all spinning lifts today for those adventuring out to have a little fun. You will see variable conditions on the slope, but it will still be a lot of fun.

We do have projected closing dates for all three resorts this morning.
Cataloochee’s projected closing date will be on Sunday, March 24th.
Sugar Mountain announced on its snow report this morning that it will close for the winter season after the day session on Sunday as well.
Snowshoe is set to ride and board until Sunday, March 31, and has been taking full advantage of any snowmaking windows this week.
So there are still a few days to get some turns in.
One cool note – the ‘Shoe is offering a cool promotion from March 25-31 as kids 12 and under ski free the whole last week of the season.
It has been a fun year on the snow for me this year as I have been able to introduce my son to the skiing, and he is stoked for next season already. So big tip of the hat to Snowshoe for offering this deal.
While this evening and the first part of tomorrow are looking a little rainy, it won’t be a complete washout for either day. Sunday’s forecast is looking pretty fantastic as well.
