The roller coaster ride continues for a few more days.

After Monday started off with bluebird conditions, rain moved in overnight as we move into a stretch of milder temperatures.

The good thing is today isn’t going to be a complete washout everywhere – in fact, the southern resorts could see some sunshine later in the day as the rain and clouds move out.

Brad Panovich shared his latest Skier’s Forecast and the news looks pretty good after the next couple of days.

Things are looking pretty good for the weekend.

Before we get to the weekend and the cold air, we have to deal with some wet spring-like conditions.

However, it isn’t going to be a complete washout the next couple of days, and with the bases that have been built up conditions will remain pretty solid.

Once the snowmaking crews get a shot on Friday/Friday night, things will be really good for the weekend.

Here are some notables from around the area.

  • Snowshoe has closed Spruce for the rest of the week as they build the course for Berming Man which is slated for this weekend.
  • Most base depths have taken a bit of a hit, but nothing substantial. If anything it was just an inch or two off the top, so there is still plenty of snow to play on.
  • With the milder temperatures, we will see some softer snow over the next couple of days as we move into a spring skiing preview.
  • Today’s featured image is from Omni Homestead and their Winterfest over the weekend. It looked like was a great time.

Here are a few social posts that I thought was cool to wrap things up for the day.

Until next time, #ThinkSnow!
