It has been a sunshine on repeat couple of days, and today is going to be no different.

The sunshine and milder temps are setting the tone for spring conditions as we will see today be just a tick milder than the past two days. The sunshine, however, will be just as bright.

Wednesday and Thursday will be great days to get some spring laps in before we deal with some pesky rain on Friday.

There is still a lot of snow to play on, and the snow will be soft and playful as the day wears on.

Here are a few notes from around the region for today.

  • Sugar Mountain’s Big Birch lift will open at noon today.
  • Bryce Resort will be closed today (March 13) and tomorrow (March 14), but will reopen on Friday, March 15. The plan is to still have Winterfest on Saturday, March 16.
  • Timberline is set to suspend operations on Friday, March 15, and they are hopeful to reopen on Saturday (March 16) and Sunday (March 17).

For our quick tour of social media, Massanutten leads us off showcasing their spring-skiing conditions.

Ober Mountain recently announced that tubing has moved over and is now 50 feet longer for the rest of the season. They are also offering unlimited snow tubing.

Cataloochee was sharing their Tuesday feelings.

App Ski Mountain showed off its beautiful Tuesday morning sunset.

That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
