Another Sunshine-Filled Day

It is going to be another day to soak up the sunshine while making laps.

Thursday is set to be an incredible day – albeit on the milder side – with abundant sunshine and plenty of snow to play on.

I thought Snowshoe said it best this morning:

“Spring has sprung and we’re stoked for some serious sunshine vibes here on the island in the sky! We’re talking clear blue skies and a toasty high of 63. It’s gonna be the perfect day to ride the slopes and soak in those mountain rays so don’t forget the SPF! Let’s shed some layers and carve it up.”

Sunscreen is a fantastic idea so you don’t get burnt going into the weekend (this coming from a guy who got some sunscreen at a Tennessee baseball game over the weekend and now peeling like crazy).

For the full details of conditions, be sure to visit the Snow Reports page.

It is pretty much status quo from yesterday with only minor tweaks on base depths from around the region. We will have typical spring conditions on the slopes (which can be a lot of fun).

The sunshine has certainly been a vibe this week – especially after the weekend refresh a few resorts received – but unfortunately, Friday isn’t going to play along as we have a decent chance of rain.

Due to the forecast, Timberline Mountain has previously announced they will suspend operations for Friday (March 15) but hope to reopen for the weekend.

If we hear any further changes as we head into the weekend, we will be sure to bring them to you.

Today’s featured image is from App Ski Mountain – another fantastic shot from Luke Berger.

That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
