Bring on the snow and cold.

We are headed back to winterlike weather tonight and tomorrow – and some locations could see up to a foot of snow by Saturday.

Talk about awesome.

The weirdness of this season’s weather continues as we have springlike conditions today with warmish temps and some soft snow.

Check out some of the camera shots from around the region this morning.

The views from Beech Mountain’s summit are incredible.
Cataloochee is looking great this morning.
Wisp is having a bluebird morning.

After today, temperatures will take a nosedive tonight and into tomorrow along with a Northwest Flow Snow event.

Snowshoe and Pocahontas County are in the crosshairs again this weekend as the National Weather Service is calling for 8-12” by the time Saturday rolls around. Hopefully, the Cheat Mountain magic will strike again.

Speaking of Snowshoe, the Ridiculous Pass goes on sale today. This is your opportunity to get a 2020-21 season pass for only $279. The best part? You get the rest of this season as well so you can take advantage of this weekend’s pow. Click here for more information.

Canaan Valley is looking at 3-5” of fresh powder, and the general consensus is that the North Carolina resorts – and even Ober Gatlinburg – could fall in that 1-3 inch range.

No matter where you go, conditions should be incredible this weekend.

That will do it for today. Until next time, #ThinkSnow!
