Wisp Resort MD offers a full-service Deep Creek Ski Rentals center onsite, just steps away from the ski slopes. The Wisp Resort Rental Center carries the best brands—including Burton snowboards and Elan and Rossignol skis—so that beginners and intermediate level skiers will be able to achieve the best performance possible. More advanced skiers will want to check out the Performance Rental Center, which carries higher-performance gear. Both of these Deep Creek Ski Rentals locations are conveniently situated on the lower level of the Main Lodge in the Wisp Ski Area, and both offer the option of signing up for lessons, purchasing lift tickets, and getting properly fitted so that you can enjoy the highest possible level of performance. The reasonably-priced rentals are available on a first come, first served basis and quantities are limited, so make sure to arrive on the slopes bright and early!
If you’re looking for something more permanent, Rudy’s Wisp MD Ski Shop sells everything you’ll need to enjoy the slopes in style. Located onsite at the Lodge at Wisp Ski Area, Rudy’s has been serving visitors to Wisp since the Wisp Resort Deep Creek Skiing resort opened in 1954. Rudy’s specializes in the sports of skiing and snowboarding and can get your fitted into the proper equipment or service your existing equipment to ensure optimum performance. The only one of the Wisp MD Ski Shops located onsite at Wisp Resort, Rudy’s carries brands like Burton, Columbia, Rossignol, Giro, Marker, Merrell, Oakley, Patagonia, Sorel, Roxy, and many, many more. They sell both ski and board equipment, winter apparel and accessories, and even have a Junior Trade In/Trade Up Program which allows the parents of growing children to trade in apparel that has been outgrown for new or used apparel. The clothing or equipment must be in working order, and must have been purchased at Rudy’s at Wisp Resort MD.
