Today’s featured image is from Timberline Mountain – between the Bengals winning and the incredible conditions, I bet that boarder had an awesome weekend.

The last full week of January is looking pretty fantastic.

This past weekend featured some incredible conditions, and we can expect more of the same this upcoming week.

Pretty sweet, right?

It is going to be a really nice Monday across the entire region which will help tame those Monday blues.

Some light snow did fall overnight, and a few locations reported some light accumulation.

Canaan Valley and Timberline received just under two inches of light snow, while Snowshoe is reporting a fresh inch.

Winterplace also received a trace of natural snow.

Sunday was just the first of a couple of opportunities for natural snow this week – including tonight for the northern part of the area.

The mountain operation crews have also been taking full advantage of the cold weather as base depths are at the highest they have been all season.

It is crazy impressive how fast things turned around after the holiday warm spell.

Those able to sneak away from work this week will certainly be awarded a lot of fun out on the snow as we have some crazy good conditions right now.

For the latest details, be sure to visit the Snow Reports page.
