On Snow

Just got back from riding at Sugar this afternoon. I got there around 1:00 and in the parking lot a lady told me NOT to buy a lift ticket it was too cold! I don’t know where she was from (I am guess down south somewhere) but she may want to pick a new sport if a 30 degree bluebird day is too harsh. I had to stand in a line of about 15 people just to get a lift ticket. Needless to say it was a little more crowded than last week but still not bad at all. The snow was good, they were making a lot of snow which did make it a little cold if your face wasn’t covered but it was still a beautiful day on the slopes. There were a few thin spots especially on the sides of the trail, but I am sure those will be patched up by the weekend. Sugar was also making snow to the top! It looked to me like it should open Northridge and Switchback soon, maybe even tomorrow morning!? I dont’ know but it sure looked ridable to me. One of the images is looking up switchback showing all the snow being made.
