On Snow

I found perfect conditions, the best I’ve ever seen at Gatlinburg, today. Grizzly was open and in great condition. They are making snow on Alpine Way and will be 100% open then. (They are now.)

No crowds, no lift lines made the day even better!! I got there right at noon when they opened and was one of the first up the lift. They had Bear Run and Grizzly groomed, but strangely enough the did not groom the main beginners slope where Castle Run and Cub Way come together and lead to the lodge. It was kind of bumpy, which didn’t bother me at all but some of the "straight-downers" (beginners wearing jeans!!) were kind of fun to watch!!

A great day of skiing!!
