CONGRATS TO KEVIN McNAMARA for Being December’s TOP SKI REPORTER!

On Snow

Stay up to date by getting notified of new posts!

Kevin McNamara is known as JamSandwich on the messageboard and between his Trip Report posts and those that he sent to us within the month of December he won our first Top Snow Reporter award for December’s contributions to the website.

Kevin is pictured with Communications Director, Sarah Davis as she presents him with a check for $500 on this snowy morning.
Not bad for enjoying time on the snow and sharing those experiences with our readers!

Kevin is a recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and has been a member of the messageboard since 2006. He lives in Boone and decided to get in as many days on the snow as he could this season. Hence he purchased a GOLD CARD which allows him to ski all of the North Carolina resorts an unlimited number of times this season. That investment and his willingness to share with our readers have turned into a little extra cash and we appreciate his input.

Kevin stated, "I use a standard Sony DSC h50 camera and just point and shoot."

Several messageboard viewers have commented on how nice the images are and we love sharing these kinds of shots for all of our ski areas with you, our visitors.

If YOU would like to win $500 for sharing some pics and videos with us and our readers, simply start snapping and sharing with us. You can visit https://www.skisoutheast.com/onsnow.htm  for more information or join the messageboard and post your trip reports there. You can also simply start emailing your photos to Sarah at [email protected] . If you intend to send a lot of photos or videos we can even set you up with file upload access directly to our servers.

Thanks again Kevin and Congratulations. We hope more of you will join our team of volunteer on-snow reporters. You could be THE NEXT $500 winner!
