On Snow

Here is a trail report from Sugar today.

Headed up for a half day session at Sugar today with my friend Joey and met up with SkiorDie
from the message boards as well.

Left the house at about 11am and rolled into the Sugar parking lot around 1215pm. Suprised
that even though there were quite a few cars there, I was able to find an open spot just 2 down
from the top. Rock star parking on a Sunday at Sugar? The Snow Gods must have been smiling
down upon me today!

Picked up the lift ticket at weekday rates and suited up for a nice first day of the season.
I was very surprised to find that the coverage was excellent and was a mix of mashed taters and
manmade powder. Excellent conditions for so early in the season. There were a decent amount of
folks there, but it wasn’t really crowded at all.

Made a first run to work the bugs out of my legs and then met up with SkiorDie, his girl, and some
other dude. Ended up doing about 10-12 runs throughout the day and really felt just as good as
the last day of the season last year! Excellent day, bomber conditions for the weather, and just an
all around great time!

Thanks Sugar for a great start to the season!
