There will be snowmaking as long as temperatures allow today and tonight.

Here are a few items of note from this morning’s report.
- It is Bryce Resort’s opening day and it will be fantastic. They will be playing on four trails (Bunny Slope, Little Nip, White Lightning, and Bootlegger) open with three lifts spinning.
- Snowshoe’s Silver Creek is set to open on Friday. In addition, look for more terrain opening up (including the Western Territory) in the coming days.
- As noted already, Winterplace has resumed operations after suspending them for Wednesday. They are reporting 15 slopes with five lifts open today.
- Most resorts are reporting a groomed surface today as is the norm, but conditions will be pretty sweet with fresh snow to play on in most locations.
- It will be opening weekend for Canaan Valley, Timberline, and Massanutten with things looking awesome.
The best part is the pattern continues to look really good for the next couple of weeks. If you are out on the slopes today or this weekend, be sure to send us photos over.
That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
