Went up to the Wolf for opening weekend. Like everyone else, no snowmaking for last few days, but found plenty of base to ski on! Early on snow was fast and NO crowds-never waited in line all morning. A few groups arrived in the afternoon making things interesting, especially for the riders who built a kicker near the end of Eagle.
I daresay some of those folks(the visiting groups) had never jumped before. All in all, nice day to be out, mountain open to the top and got a chance to view the tunnel that is being cut in under Viewfinder. Will be interesting to see how everything plays out through the season! Overall a beautiful day to be on the snow, nice and warm but plenty of surface to ride on! Will be back for more in a couple of weeks!
