Up to 4 inches MORE SNOW Falls Across Some of our Southeast and Mid Atlantic Ski Resorts!

Stay up to date by getting notified of new posts!

This morning’s news is all about the continued "snow attack" on some of our coverage area.

Resorts in West Virginia and Maryland picked up from 2-4" of new snow and that will do nothing but add to the phenomenal ski conditions that they are experiencing up that way.

The temps are also quite a bit colder into the middle of West Virginia and north this morning. Lows this morning around North Carolina and Virginia are hovering around 30° or so, while Snowshoe is showing 16°.

Regardless, conditions are quite nice from Maryland all the way down to Wolf Ridge Resort in the Southwestern portions of North Carolina.

The weather looks GREAT for Friday, Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 30s and lows in the teens and mid 20s…with SUNNY skies for the North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia mountains, while West Virginia and Maryland is looking at — surprise, surprise — more snow!

So let’s summarize:

A little light snow, great snowmaking temps, then LOTS of sunshine and phenomenal weather for the weekend. That SPELLS – s-k-i g-e-t-a-w-a-y to me. Make your plans and do this trip! You’ll thank me later.

CHECK THE SLOPE CONDITIONS PAGE FOR THE DETAILS TODAY…

Know that conditions are going to very nice no matter where you go today. Several of our office staff are planning on skiing up at Hawksnest this afternoon and evening. If you get a chance come make a few turns with our crew!

Snowshoe has now seen 69" of snow on the season and conditions could not be better!

Timberline Resort has not updated their report since Monday, but thanks to a great resource we are able to tell you that they also saw 3.4" of new snow!
