The Southeast and Mid Atlantic Weather Forecast looks pretty consistent across the region for the next few days. Look for mostly sunny skies Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Highs in the 30-40 range for Saturday and Sunday. Monday warms into the 50s. Tuesday brings a slight chance of showers and lows in the 40s. Wednesday and Thursday look partly cloudy and mild in the mid to upper 50s and lows in the 40 degree range. The long range forecast looks like a chance of rain north into West Virginia and lesser chances south into North Carolina. Highs in the mid 50s to the north and 60s to the south. No snowmaking temps into next week.

North Carolina Mountains

It’s going to be a beautiful weekend of skiing at Cataloochee Ski Area this weekend. Congrats to those guys for being the FIRST ski resort to open in Eastern America this season! Look for highs in the 40s Saturday with sunny skies. Lows Saturday night around the mid 20s. Sunday should be sunny and near 50. Lows Sunday night around 28. Monday and Tuesday look to be in the 50s for highs and Wednesday gets into the 60s with overnight lows in the mid 40s. Thursday and Friday look even warmer into the mid to upper 60s with lows in the mid to upper 40s.
