Snow is AGAIN in the forecast for the mountains of West Virginia – into Maryland. Look for seasonable temps for Tuesday through Wednesday. Thursday will bring in some colder air – highs around 37°. Then Thursday night look for some snow flurries after midnight and lows around 19°! Friday and Friday night brings a bit more in the way of snow flurries with highs Friday around 27° and lows near 20°. Saturday gets back to a little "warmer" temps in the mid to upper 30s and there will be some gradual warming early into next week.

The North Carolina Mountains:

Expect warmer than normal temperatures through November 1st across Western North Carolina. A weak front will move across the High Country early Wednesday, but the really cold air is still more than a full day behind the front. The front is pretty dry but it will stall just to our east as a weak wave of low pressure moves along it Thursday.

Much colder air arrives Thursday afternoon and the highs Thursday will be in the morning hours with falling temperatures through the afternoon. Friday will bring much colder air. Temperatures will become gradually warmer each day thereafter, but stay below normal into early next week.
