The Snowshoe Foundation has announced that this year’s Treasure on The Mountain festivities have been cancelled in accordance with Governor Jim Justice’s executive order 51-20, which prohibits all festivals, fairs, and gatherings of more than 25 people.

Raffle drawings for the $300,000 in main ticket prizes will still take place and will be broadcasted via Snowshoe TV throughout Snowshoe Mountain Village and Lodging as well as on Facebook Live.

Winners will also be announced on the Snowshoe Foundation app, website, and social media.

“We’re certainly disappointed to have to cancel the festivities associated with Treasure on The Mountain, but we’re thankful that we can still proceed with the main raffle drawing without issue” said Snowshoe Foundation Director Kristen Doss. “It is extremely important to raise the funds that the Foundation needs for grants and scholarships in order to continue making a positive impact in the community, and that’s what it’s all about at the end of the day.”

The Snowshoe Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the West Virginia Counties of  Pocahontas, Webster and Randolph.
