Timberline Resort Ski & Snowboard Lessons

Timberline Resort Ski SchoolEach year, thousands of avid skiers and riders flock to Timberline Resort, but you don’t have to be an expert at Timberline Skiing to take advantage of the fabulous Timberline Ski Conditions. No matter who you are or how you learn, Timberline Ski Resort has a lesson for you. The instructors at Timberline Ski and Snowboard Schools at Timberline Resort will have you enjoying the West Virginia Ski Slopes and Snowboarding in WV in no time flat! Lessons are available for every group you can think of, including children, women, and even seniors.

Two specific types of lessons are available at Timberline Ski Resort: Group lessons and private lessons. Group lessons are perfect for those who want to enjoy their time at this Ski Resort in West Virginia by combining socializing with learning to WV Ski. When you participate in group lessons, you’ll not only enjoy the attention of a well-trained instructor, but you’ll get to meet and mingle with lots of other folks who are also learning to WV Ski. If you learn better when you receive one-on-one attention, you’ll definitely want to look into receiving private lessons from one of Timberline Ski Resort’s professional instructors who are specially trained to help you reach your Timberline Skiing goals.

Group and private lessons taught by professional instructors are available to those seven years old and over. All lessons are offered on a first come, first served basis, at several convenient times throughout the day. Signs ups begin at 8 AM Friday through Monday, and 9 AM Tuesday through Thursday, so those interested in lessons should be prepared to leave their Timberline WV Lodging bright and early to make sure they arrive in time.

Timberline Resort Ski SchoolTimberline Resort also offers a Children’s Program with specially trained instructors who know just how to teach your children how to get the most out of the West Virginia Ski Slopes. Kids ages four to seven will love Timber Adventure, which includes instruction, equipment, lift passes, lunch, and plenty of times on the West Virginia Ski Slopes. Mountain Safari is designed for children ages eight to twelve and is for kids who already have experience Timberline Skiing as well as those who do not. The enrollment fee includes coaching, gear, lift passes and lunch, and the program lasts from 9:30 to 3:30. Both programs offer children the chance to learn, while giving parents the opportunity to enjoy some Timberline Skiing without having to look after their little ones. If you’d like a well-deserved break, but don’t think any of our programs are well-suited for your children, check out Timberline Resort’s all-day childcare for children of all ages. The program is available on an hourly basis ($8 per hour), for half a day ($30), or for the entire day ($55). Lunch is included with the all-day option.
