Sugar Mountain Tubing
The 700-foot-long tubing runs at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort will send you rocketing down the enormous hill at top speeds. Lights located all along the runs and area allow for night tubing as well as Ski Sugar. The tubing “chutes” at Ski Sugar are safe and about 10 to 12 feet wide, allowing for you to let loose and enjoy the ride. The tubing park is located at Sugar Ski and Country Club adjacent to the “D” parking lot. Participants must be 3 years old to ride. Children 6 and under must ride and share a tube with an adult; children 7 and 8 must be under the direct supervision of an accompanying adult. All children 11 and under must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian prior to the purchase of the tubing ticket.
After sliding down the tubing run, a Magic Carpet lift will transport you back to the top of the hill. Tubing sessions at Ski Sugar last for 1 hour and 45 minutes, and tickets for each session are sold on a first come, first serve basis; there are absolutely no presales. Certain sessions do sell out, especially during holiday periods. The holiday season at Ski Sugar is designated as the time period between Dec. 21 and Jan. 1. Ticket prices are $20 for weekdays and $25 dollars for weekends and holidays. Individual tickets must be purchased at the tubing park, not at the normal lift ticket window at the lodge at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. It is advised that you wear warm clothing and water-repellent jackets and bibs if you plan to go Snow Tubing at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. Ski boots cannot be worn on the tubing runs. Plan to go Snow Tubing on your next visit to Ski Sugar!
