We’re going to save you guys some time this morning by just reporting some snow totals and quick comments where warranted…however suffice to say that no matter where you plan to ski today – conditions will be MARVELOUS!
Appalachian did not make snow but plans to tonight. They received 3” of snow in the last 24 hours.
Cataloochee received 8” of new snow as of 9pm last night and we’re certain there’s more! The Cat Crew is out there today we believe. Day skiing only at the Cat today.
Hawksnest is reporting 8” of snow since Friday night and remember TOP GUN is open with all of that powder!
Ski Beech is reporting 10-12” of new snow. Two On-Snow Reporters who live on Beech are reporting 12”. That will make for awesome riding today! Get us some photos! The Oz Run isn’t open just yet but is HAS to be soon!
Wolf Laurel is reporting all lifts open, call ahead if you’re in doubt. They are also reporting 6” of new snow! Great conditions!
Bryce Resort in
Massanutten had only received 6” of snow on the season prior to Friday and they picked up 2” and then another FOOT of snow in the last 24 hours to send them to 20” on the season! Powder anyone?

Wintergreen Resort in
Betsy Dunkerton told us, “All of our main access lifts: Big Acorn, Highlands, Blue Ridge and Potato Patch will be running today and we will get Loggers Alley running as soon as possible. Today, we will be skiing and riding on 22 trails with Upper Diamond Hill closed during the race and reopening this afternoon. All trails were groomed overnight and have a packed powder surface. The Plunge and the Slide are open today with 2 hour sessions starting at 10am for some thrilling tubing.
The
Timberline Resort must be still digging out because they haven’t posted a report anywhere, but we called for you guys and they’ve received 7” in the last 24 hours and 91” on the season!
Winterplace Resort is only reporting 1” on their site. We KNEW that was wrong so we called and how about 7” in the last 24 hours and 61” on the season. Did I say EPIC?!?!

Congratulations to Kathy and crew at Ober Gatlinburg! 11” of snow has fallen in the last 24 hours taking them to 25” of snow on the season at the
Cloudmont ski area in
