Omni Homestead Announces $120 Million Restoration Project

The Omni Homestead Resort is about to get a major makeover.

The property announced a major $120 million property-wide renovation in a Monday press conference.

The restoration will include facade work, a new event facility, an associate housing complex, and infrastructure improvements.

The project is scheduled to be completed by Summer 2023.

Omni Homestead will see nearly every area touched as part of the restoration of the historic property – including the renovation of 483 guest rooms.

While there were no major projects announced for the ski operation, it is expected that there will be cosmetic and interior work for an updated look and feel. There is currently not any major structure work scheduled for the ski area.

In addition, there will be a new family restaurant the theatre will be reconceptualized for a dinner theater concept and a “Speakeasy” will also be built.

The resort will also expand the pool area.
