Much colder air arrives Friday night with snow showers developing after midnight Friday night. Snow showers, wind, and cold weather is in store for Saturday lasting well into Saturday night. This is a "western upslope" event with the bulk of the accumulating snow at higher elevations near the Tennessee line (Beech Mountain). We can expect a dusting in the eastern areas near the Blue Ridge, but up to 4" on those western ridges. Monday, the coldest air of the season thus far arrives with falling temps during the day. Tuesday is very cold. Snow showers begin again Monday lasting into Tuesday.

Sunday – Snow to Sun – Hi 45 Lo 28
Monday – Lingering Flurries – Hi 33 Lo 15
