Bill Nabers sent us some info about offseason improvements taking place at Bryce Resort.  The Virginia resort has begun work on a new terrain park that will open for the 2020/2021 season in addition to some new mountain bike trails.

Despite the “strange” winter season that just past, Bryce is continuing to invest in the future.  Above is a view of the new terrain park under development. It will open this coming winter. I took the photo yesterday from Redeye just below the top of Chair# 2.  There will be two new bike trails if/when Bryce gets open for the downhill bike season. The two new bike trails will come from right to left across the terrain park through the woods.  They will be the longest bike trails on the mountain (about two miles).  More bike trails are planned for the future.

With everything going on in the world related to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s nice to see news like this and gives us something to look forward to when everything calms down.
