It is going to be a roller coaster of a weekend.

Mother Nature is going to be throwing a couple of different things at us over the next couple of days.

Today is going to be a sunny and mild day to cap off what has been a sunny week, while Saturday will start off mildish before the cold air arrives and potentially bring some light snow along with it late Saturday night.

Sounds like a wild ride.

Our own Brad Panovich shared his latest Skier’s Forecast last night and he talked in detail about what we can expect in the coming days.

Be sure to buckle up as we will be going on a roller coaster for a few days.

Today, however, won’t be a roller coaster as we are going to have abundant sunshine and plenty of snow to play on.

If you are able to hit the slopes to play today, you are going to have an incredible day.

For the latest details, be sure to hop over to the Snow Reports page for all the details. A couple of notable items as we cruise into the weekend:

  • Snowshoe Mountain hopes to have the Soaring Eagle lift back in operation this weekend as they finally received the part needed to repair it.
  • Winterplace has terrain park features open on Panorama.
  • Ski Sapphire will resume operations as originally scheduled at noon today.
  • Today is nearly a carbon copy day of yesterday as temperatures were the only real change over on the ski report.

There is plenty of snow and great conditions as we slide into the weekend so it would be a great time to hit the mountains.
