I am beginning to sound like a broken record in regards to how good the conditions are. But let’s look at the facts, by Friday night, parts of West Virginia could see a WEEK STRAIGHT of significant snow accumulation. Canaan bridged the gap in the past 24 hours and received .9″. In addition, it IS snowing at Wisp this morning.

The rest of the region is looking pretty healthy as well. By my count, 9 resorts made snow in the past 24 hours, and for most of these resorts the (snow making) window stays open tonight, as well.

Speaking of tonight, WV, VA, MD, and Beech could see some snow this evening. But the heavier stuff comes in tomorrow, with these same locales seeing some significant accumulation.

If you get a chance, start your weekend early, and grab a powder day tomorrow. Heck, drop everything and get up there today . . . you won’t regret it!
