SNOWSHOE, W.Va. – General Manager and V.P. of Snowshoe Mountain, Bill Rock, announced the promotion of Brad Larsen to Director of Marketing, effective Monday, March 12, 2007.

“As Marketing Manager, Larsen has done an outstanding job overseeing the management of the Snowshoe Website, Team Snowshoe Shop program and the offsite ticket sales, to name just a few of his responsibilities,” said Rock. “He has also been the marketing liaison with Snowshoe’s revenue management team and has played a huge role in maximizing our guests’ experience. I am very pleased to welcome Brad on as the leader of the Marketing Department and look forward to more great things to come from his team.”

Larsen came to Snowshoe Mountain last September by way of Wisconsin with a wealth of knowledge as he held the Director of Marketing position for Welch Village Resort in Welch, MN. While in this role, he increased season pass sales by 38%, as well as set a record visitation in the 2005-2006 season; all the while decreasing the marketing costs for the resort.
