HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:
For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…… A mix of sun and clouds today with mild temperatures warming into the lower 60’s for the afternoon. Clouds will thicken up with a 30% rain chance tonight and lows in the lower 40’s. The rain odds increase to 40% Wednesday with a high near 60 degrees.
SNOWSHOE…. Partly cloudy skies for today with highs in the middle 50’s. Clouds will increase late tonight with lows in the upper 40’s. A 40% chance of rain moves in for Wednesday with cloudy skies and highs in the lower 50’s.
WINTERGREEN….. Slightly warmer temperatures build up into the middle 60’s with partly cloudy skies today. For tonight temperatures will slip into the middle 40’s with increasing clouds late. Wednesday will bring a 20% rain chance with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 60’s.
OBER GATLINBURG….Things really warm up today with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 70’s. The mercury levels off tonight in the upper 40’s with partly cloudy skies. Clouds move in for Wednesday with a 30% rain chance and mild highs holding near 70 degrees.
HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
High pressure over the southeast brings another round of sunshine today with warmer temperatures in the middle 60’s. Clouds are on the increase across the High Country late tonight with and isolated shower (20%) developing late. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a 30% rain chance and temperatures in the low and middle 60’s.
