The Kids Club is also licensed through the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Social Services and is a member of the National Association of the Education for Young Children and the Virginia Fine Arts Museum. Children between the ages of 3 and 12 are welcome to join in all the fun, so long as they are potty trained. It is recommended that children wear comfortable, seasonally-appropriate clothing and shoes, and that they bring with them either a bathing suit or a jacket, depending on the time of year. A full day of fun starts at 9 AM, ends at 4 PM, and includes lunch. It costs $67 per child and $47 for each addition child from the immediate family. A half day (from 9 AM to 12:30 PM or 12 PM to 4 PM) is $47 with lunch and $42 without. If your child would like to participate in Kids Night Out, he or she can do so for a cost of $47 per child. If none of these activities seem appropriate for your child, it is possible for Homestead Resort to arrange for a babysitter to come to your room and either watch your child there or take him or her out to participate in some of the resort’s many activities. Babysitters are subject to availability; they require 72 hours’ notice and must be needed for at least 2 hours.
