Jeremy was at Hawksnest New Years Eve – "What an amazing night!!! Fireworks friends and snow… and even better warm weather? Yes thats right – last night was abnormally warm for riding but it turned out to be great! It was definitely a t-shirt day! Hawksnest Snowboard Park is by far the best I’ve rode all season! It’s practically the whole length of the mountain.. with everything from flat rails, up flat downs, kinks, and jumps for every ability! Thank you Hawksnest for doing so much to support the boarders! And thanks SKINC for all you do for the sport! Let’s all pray for colder temps next week! Til then thanks. Jeremy."

Les Cline was at Appalachian – "Hi Guys. Where did WINTER go? Great springlike conditions at App. These guys can really make snow. Wasn’t all that crowded. Snow was heavy & wet. Everybody that came up from Florida, must have brought all the warm weather with them."

Cataloochee Ski Area – Wants you to know about Sunday, January 9. Everything’s Elvis Day! Celebrate the King’s Birthday in style at Cataloochee with Elvis sightings, Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwiches and Hound Dog stew with prizes for the best dressed Elvis on the snow – so…don’t be cruel and come on out for the fun! Ski with Elvis until he leaves the area!

Sapphire Valley closes due to mild weather – Sapphire Valley Ski Area is Closed January 2,Sunday, Due to warm weather. Frozen Falls tube park will open very soon, weather permitting.

Saturday-Sunday 9:00am-10:00pm
