Wintergreen Resort in Virginia Hosts Olympian Jonny Moseley this Weekend!

Wintergreen Resort is the place to be this Saturday, March 4th as Olympian Jonny Moseley will be the master of ceremonies at the final Blue Ridge Doublecross this weekend.  The event is sponsored by Freestyle and Head.

Jonny Moseley, who has had fifteen top 10s in the U.S. Championships, and 17 wins in the World Cup will be on hand to sign autographs on Saturday.  Moseley is well known as the 1998 World Cup Moguls Champion, 1998 Olympic Gold Medalist in the moguls, 1999 X Games Big Air Silver Medalist, 2000 U.S. Champion in Slopestyle, as well as the 4th place finisher at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games.

Wintergreen Resort in Virginia is proud and excited to have him there this weekend as Master of Ceremonies this weekend’s fun.  In addition to have Jonny Moseley signing autographs, Wintergreen will host a FreeStyle Demo Day on Saturday where you can test out new ski and snowboard equipment by Freestyle.  That will be setup at the top of Acorn.

Saturday will also be “Mardi Gras 2006” at Wintergreen! All they ask is a $100 donation and that will cover you for a day of skiing, activities on the slopes, Cajun dinner and Thrift Store Formal Dance. Your donation will benefit Wintergreen’s Adaptive Skiing, a non-profit organization providing adaptive ski instruction to students with a disability. On Sunday the fun continues as they will host the Blue Ridge Doublecross which is the highlight of the weekend with Snowboarder and Skier competition in the terrain park, sponsored by Freestyle.
