The higher elevations of West Virginia and into Maryland will be Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. Northwest wind 5 to 11 mph becoming south. Look for gusty winds tonight with lows in the 50s. There’s a chance of rain on Saturday with a High near 64. Southwest wind between 16 and 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Saturday Night: Periods of rain, mainly before 9pm, then rain and snow showers likely between 11pm and midnight, then snow showers likely after midnight. Low around 25. Breezy, with a west wind between 23 and 28 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Sunday: Snow showers likely, mainly before 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 29. Blustery, with a northwest wind between 24 and 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Sunday Night: Mostly clear and blustery, with a low around 29.

North Carolina Mountains:

The forecast for this weekend is for Friday to be gorgeous with near record high temps. Expect some low 70s around Western North Carolina and the High Country. Saturday will cool down a good bit with highs in the upper 50s to near 60°. We will also lose the pretty skies as things will become mostly cloudy and look for PM showers. Things will turn much colder Saturday night with some possible snow flurries late. Lows will be near 30°. The winds Saturday night should be 25-35mpg with gusts to 55mph!

Sunday will offer some light drizzle or snow flurries. Look for decreasing clouds later in the day. It will be windy Sunday as well. (20-30mph). Look for highs in the 50s and lows in the upper 30s for early and into the middle of next week.
