Things were a litte icy and wet across much of Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia yesterday and more snowy across West Virginia where some of the resorts up that way saw a light snow only event and picked up a couple of inches of snow.
Friday will be a nice day across the region with highs in the 30s to near 40 degrees. Showers will move into the area overnight and will prohibit any snowmaking. Expect very nice ski conditions on Friday.
Saturday looks a little dicey. North Carolina may see only clouds from this, while further north they could see some light rain and or snow from it. The higher elevation like Snowshoe may see snow only. Temps will be getting into the mid 30s on Saturday and then Sunday should be partly to mostly cloudy across the region with temps into the 40s possible across much of the area.
This milder THAW pattern should be changing to a COLD, SNOWY one by next Thursday so stay tuned to the forecasts!
