Weather

Stay up to date by getting notified of new posts!

Here’s the detailed forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday – the last three days of the 2005-2006 ski season.

WISP RESORT IN MARYLAND – Look for a 40% chance of rain today, tonight and a 50% chance of rain on Saturday.  It doesn’t look like a “full day wash-out” any of those days.  Highs will be in the 70° range today, 55° on Saturday and then sunny and 58° on Sunday.

SNOWSHOE MOUNTAIN – There’s a 40% chance of rain today with a high near 60°.  Saturday looks like early showers and then becoming partly cloudy with a high of 50°.  Sunday should be sunny and mild at around 57°

TIMBERLINE RESORT – Looks like pretty much “DITTO” of Snowshoe’s forecast.

CATALOOCHEE SKI AREA – Look for a 30% chance of a shower or two and maybe even a thunderstorm on Saturday.  Highs should be near 70°. It will also be somewhat windy with breezy 15-20 mph winds.

Unless the forecast changes drastically, this will be the last weather post of the 2005-2006 ski season.  We hope you found our updates helpful this season.  Thanks to the many weather gurus and meteorologists who provided helpful input and information this season!
