HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN….. A 90% chance of snow for Sunday with less than an inch of accumulation possible. Temperatures will climb into the upper 20’s. Isolated snow showers (20%) continue for Sunday night with lows in the upper teens. Monday will be partly cloudy with highs around 30 degrees.

SNOWSHOE…. Sunday will bring possible snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches with a 90% chance of flakes falling and highs only in the middle teens. Scattered snow showers (20%) continue Sunday night with a low around 11 degrees. Skies will become partly cloudy Monday with highs warming into the middle 30’s.

WINTERGREEN…. Skies will be partly cloudy for Sunday with winds as high as 20 mph from the west, and temperatures warming up into the lower 40’s. Mostly clear skies for Sunday night with lows in the lower 20’s. Things really warm up for Monday with the mercury climbing up to 50 degrees.

OBER GATLINBURG…. Mostly cloudy skies start Sunday off with a 40% chance of light snow, possibly mixing with rain for the early afternoon. Skies will be clear Sunday night with lows in the low 20’s. Sunshine is back in full force for Monday with temperatures jumping into the middle 50’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
Sunday will be cool with 40% chance of snow for the morning and highs in the low 30’s. Accumulations will be less than an inch, and winds will kick up from the northwest around 20 mph. Skies will decrease Sunday night with temperatures in the middle 20’s. Sunshine is back for Monday and Tuesday with temperatures warming up into the middle 40’s.
