Snowshoe Mountain drops the ropes this morning, which signals the start of the 2004-2005 season on the special mountain in West Virginia! Snowshoe has been making snow with more frequency and colder temps than other resorts in the Southeast, but made the decision to open this weekend with the best conditions that they could deliver.
…and have they delivered! Try on 12" to THREE FEET of base on the four trails that they are opening for snow fun today. Too cool!
Speaking of cool…temps will be in the 30s for highs and teens and 20s for lows through the weekend. So pack up the kids and head to Snowshoe!
