SNOWSHOE, WV. – Snowshoe Mountain Resort announced today the appointment of Craig Low as the resort’s new Director of Marketing. Low has over 10 years of ski industry experience, including spending the last four years as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Camelback Mountain Resort and Camelbeach Mountain Water Park in Pennsylvania.

Low is a life-long skier and a native of the Finger Lakes region of New York State. His resort experience began with a ski instructor position during his teen years. After earning a Masters in Public Administration from Appalachian State University and a brief career in sales, Low was named Director of Sales and Marketing at his home mountain, Bristol Mountain Resort, in 1999. During his five years at Bristol, Craig was recognized as a marketing leader, earning a National Ski Areas Association Marketing Award in 2002 for the “Get Skiing” program.

Low looks forward to joining the marketing team at Snowshoe Mountain Resort, the southeast’s leading winter resort destination.

“Snowshoe is such a unique and special mountain, the opportunity here was one I just couldn’t pass up,” Low said. “The team already in place at Snowshoe is extremely talented and I look forward to working with them and within the Intrawest family of resorts.”

Throughout his career Low has not only served his employer, but also the greater community. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Monroe County Red Cross for the last two years. In addition to his life-long passion for skiing, Low also enjoys hiking, mountain biking and outdoor photography. Low said he looks forward to pursuing these hobbies in West Virginia,
“This is such an amazing area. I can’t wait to get out and explore and take advantage of the natural beauty and outdoor recreation that is so abundant here.”

Until Next Time!
