HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:
A few leftover morning snow flakes in some parts….

For WISP, TIMBERLINE and CANAAN…. The flakes continue to fly this morning, tapering off for the afternoon with partly sunny skies by afternoon and highs in the middle 20’s. It gets cold tonight with lows in the middle teens. A bounce back for tomorrow with sunny skies and highs in the upper 30’s.

At SNOWSHOE…. Snow showers hold on this morning (30%) with partly sunny skies by the afternoon and bone chilling highs in the middle teens. Thanks to northwest winds around 20 to 25 mph, the wind chill will make it feel like -5 or so. Clear skies tonight with lows in the upper single digits. Sunshine for Thursday with a high around 42 degrees.

WINTERGREEN, VA & OBER GATLINBURG, TN -Sunshine is back for today with highs still lingering in the middle to upper 30’s. It will be a bit blustery though, with winds gusting at times up to around 25 mph. Clear tonight with temperatures in the upper teens. Warming up for Thursday with sunny skies and highs in the middle and upper 40’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….

Clouds are on the decrease this morning with wind chills in the single digits. Temperatures slowly climb into the upper 20’s by the afternoon. Clear skies with winds calming down tonight, as lows bottom out in the middle teens. Warmer with more sunshine by Thursday as temperatures rise into the middle 40’s. The mercury will be close to 50 degrees by Friday with partly cloudy skies.
