SNOW! Now there’s a great way to get your attention and we DO have some snow in the forecast. More on that coming up.

As you all probably know, Mike and family are enroute to Beaver Creek in Colorado for some much needed fun, rest and relaxation. As Mike’s fill-in for the week, I promise not to try to "Be Like Mike", but I WILL give you the scoop on conditions and upcoming events.

While I’m sure the conditions out west are great, the slopes here in the beautiful Southeast are in phenomenal shape as well.
President’s Day Weekend is off to a very COLD start with temperatures in the teens this morning and the forecast is for some light snow this morning and then again later this afternoon. While not alot of accumulation is expected, we’ll sure take what we can get and LOVE it!

This holiday weekend always promises fun activities at all of the ski resorts and most are experiencing some of the best conditions of the year. Here’s a little of what’s going on this weekend:

It’s Costume Day at Bryce Resort, with costume competitions, a NASTAR race in costumes and a Rail Jam. Fun for all ages!

Don’t forget about the Glass and Powder slope style event on Sunday at the terrain park at Wintergreen Resort.

Wolf Ridge is now Night Skiing the entire mountain – including the new slopes at Breakaway. Slopes are open Sunday Evening for President’s Day Weekend.

Timberline Resort celebrates Presidents Weekend & Willie Nelson Tribute Weekend-Texas-style. Enjoy skiiing with your best cowboy duds.

Overall, the weather is perfect, conditions are near perfect, and there is fun to be had. So what are you waiting for? Enjoy the weekend!

Until Next Time…

THINK COLD AND SNOW!!!
