Skier’s Forecast for Saturday at NC Ski Resorts

It should be mild and variably cloudy on Saturday with only a slight 20% chance of light drizzle later in the day.  Highs will be warm to about 50° or so today and nosedive to 20° or so this evening.  There could be a sprinkle or two of snow tonight.

The snowguns will fire up tonight.  Sunday should be beautiful, with highs in the upper 20s or so and overnight lows around 15°.  Snowguns could be blasting all day at some places.  Monday will be slightly milder than normal but only by a degree or two.  Highs Monday should be near 45°. Tuesday through Friday should be mostly clear and milder than normal with highs in the 40s and 50s and no snowmaking at night.

Colder air looks to be back in the picture towards next weekend.
