There’s some leftover snows still predicted for the mountain into West Virginia and Maryland for this weekend.  Temps will be cold enough for around the clock snowmaking for those resorts that wish to do it.  Conditions are so good for this weekend that many areas will only make snow in selected areas or overnight and not during ski sessions.

Ski resorts into Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina are now looking for a mostly sunny weekend, and daytime temps are expected to be in the 40s with nighttime, snowmaking temps into the low to mid 20s.

Snowmaking took place throughout the night and will continue on various open terrain today as long as temperatures allow. Please be aware of snow guns working in select locations throughout the day. Snowmaking should take place nearly around the clock through the weekend, and that means conditions are once again going to be excellent. If you haven’t visited us this season, make your plans now.
