SAVE on your NEXT Trip the High Country with the High Country Universal Gold Pass

Business Spotlight

If you are planning a trip to the High Country and are looking to SAVE A FEW bucks on dining, ski rentals, shopping and more, then you’ll want to take advantage of the new High Country Universal Gold Pass.

The Gold Pass offers discounts for all enrolled vendor locations, providing great overall savings to individuals year-round (on accommodations, attractions, restaurants, shopping, services, activities, arts and cultural events, and more!)

The Gold Pass is great for one-time visitors as well. Unlike coupon books and coupon programs, the Gold Pass is easy to carry and can be used the entire year. It will not expire with one or two time usage, like a coupon.

If you want to save money on skiing, Hawksnest and Ski Beech ski areas and local ski shops are offering great discounts.

If you’re into the local dining scene – several restaurants are offering 10-15% off of your dining bill!

Card holders are given 10-15% OFF of lodging at a HUGE number of inns and hotels in Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Beech Mountain and the surrounding area. In MANY cases that discount ALONE will all but pay for the cost of the card. Let’s say a rental costs $120 and you stayed three nights.  That would be $360. An individual pass only cost $35 for an entire YEAR’S worth of savings and you would have payed for the card in one stay! You can visit their website to see the huge list of inns and cabin rentals that are already honoring the card and the list is growing!

The High Country Univeral Gold Pass is good for discounts at antique shoppes in the area, numerous attractions such as Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, Mystery Hill and more. If you are planning to attend WINTERFEST in Blowing Rock later this month, January 26-29, 2006, you can immediately save $5 off an All Events Pass!

You can see the entire list of vendors which are already honoring the card by CLICKING HERE!

The High Country Universal Gold Pass is a great way to save money for ONE PERSON, A COUPLE or an ENTIRE FAMILY.  The only thing that you need to know is that the card is good for the person presenting it.  So if you have a family, you’ll want to purchase the family card.  A Couples Card is good for two adults and so on.  However, it is SUCH a great deal that in ONE TRIP to the High country the card will pay for itself and yet it’s good for an entire year.  At $35 for singles, $50 for couples and only $75 for an entire family (2 adults and children under 16) it is a great way to guarantee yourself some great savings on fun in the mountains.

It is endorsed by SkiNC and SkiSoutheast and we think that it is a great way to make your own ski and stay packages…and yet it’s good for Spring, Summer and Autumn fun as well.
